About the Role

Great opportunity to support government-wide executive council transformation efforts including consistent implementation of federal policies in support of the Chief Financial Officers Council and Cross Agency Priority Goals. This position includes collaborating with senior agency professionals in support of interagency efforts to engage management programs and promote inter-agency collaboration. This position offers unparalleled exposure to federal management and requires a proactive, dedicated individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on Government.


  • Provide support to Chief Financial Officers Council and sub-group (executive committee, sub-committees, communities of practice, working groups, task forces, etc.) initiatives and key projects
  • Provide project management support for large and small council events including schedule development, risk management and communications activities, and project management plans
  • Provide support for maintaining executive relationships by managing contact information, coordinating meetings, and conducting stakeholder engagement activities
  • Develop materials including but not limited to: presentations, strategy documents, research, white papers, analysis supporting council activities
  • Consolidate guidance, recommendations, best practices into comprehensive deliverables to be utilized by senior leaders

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • PMP certification or PM equivalent (e.g., PRINCE2)
  • Prior federal consulting experience with the ability to work collaboratively in support of senior government executives
  • Experience building and managing schedules using MS Project and Excel
  • Experience building and managing risk registers including mitigation plan development
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to retain key information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and diverse stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

Experience using Google Suite of tools, Trello, SmartSheets, and Qualtrics
