About the Role

eGlobalTech, one of Northern Virginia's fastest growing cybersecurity consulting firms, is looking for an energetic and motivated Communication Specialist Lead to join one of our longest standing projects. Our award-winning and highly visible team is looking for someone with stakeholder management experience who is great with coordination, outreach, communication, and extremely detail oriented. Under the supervisor of the Team Lead and in collaboration with team members, the Communication Specialist Task Lead will:


  • Lead a small Communications team
  • Adhere to the Agency’s writing style guide, ensuring the creation of high-quality, error-free documentation
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to develop content ideas in line with the office’s strategy, brand, and mission and initiatives
  • Support and evaluate the results of communication campaigns
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Implement the strategic communications priorities of the client
  • Assist Graphic Designer with developing graphic style sheets for marketing materials
  • Develop, integrate, and implement comprehensive marketing and communications plans and measurable actions that enhance the agency’s vital mission
  • Participate in and facilitate client meetings and workgroups, as appropriate

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in strategic communications
  • Experience in stakeholder and communications management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with MS Office and related communications tools (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with federal clients
  • Background in cybersecurity
  • Highly organized, efficient, and extremely detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently but know when to see assistance
  • Ability to work productively in SharePoint to accomplish tasks; basic familiarity of SharePoint preferred prior to hire
