About the Role

eGlobalTech, one of Northern Virginia's fastest growing cybersecurity consulting firms, is looking for an energetic and motivated Communications Specialist to join one of our longest standing projects. Under the supervision of a Manager and in collaboration with team members, the Communications Specialist will:

  • Develop various communications and marketing materials including but not limited to brochures, slick sheets, one-pagers, newsletters, briefings, stakeholder speeches and/or talking points, etc.
  • Support development of social media content
  • Manage resource inbox to include drafting strategic communications and responding to request for information
  • Manage internal sharepoint and public facing website to include content maintenance
  • Provide detailed technical quality review and edits of materials
  • Collaborate with graphics and training stakeholders for content development and support

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience developing high quality marketing and communication materials from scratch and presenting to senior executives or senior government officials
  • Experience with speech writing and/or creating talking points for senior level clients
  • Experience with synthesizing information from different sources and creating a clear, concise and high-quality deliverable
  • Experience with social media and website content management
  • Self-starter who manage multiple tasks simultaneously; coordinating and ensuring goals are met
  • Experience with project management and project coordination
  • Experience with strategic planning and writing a strategic plan

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Health Information Exchange and/or other Healthcare and Public Health (HPH) Sector stakeholders
  • Familiarity with basic cybersecurity practices
