  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech, one of Northern Virginia’s fastest growing federal consulting firms, is looking for a Training Specialist to join our Cyber Solutions Practice.     Responsibilities

    • Push the Agency's security awareness program forward by making recommendations and developing content as needed
    • Develop and deliver a wide set of training programs to include, onboarding, ISSO and Security Control Assessor training
    • Develop creative campaigns and approaches to security awareness and social engineering awareness campaigns
    • Drive monthly ISSO training in coordination with the technical delivery team
    • Develop training for new hires
    • 5+ years’ experience (master’s degree will substitute for 2 years’ experience) on training programs in the Federal Government

    Required Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
    • Experience in at least 4 of the following:
      • Training delivery
      • Course content development
      • Training program maintenance activities
      • Measuring effectiveness of training
      • Planning and executing large training initiatives (e.g. awareness months, conferences, etc.)
    • Experience with leading projects, technical writing, administrative tasks, and conducting briefings
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to customer environment
    • Flexibility and willingness to work with changing requirements
    • Self-starter with interest in expanding security expertise in a federal consulting environment
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; coordinating and ensuring scheduled goals are met
    • Desire to grow professionally and work towards obtaining security certifications
    • Ability to work on the customer site 5 days a week
    • This position requires a clearance and/or badge that involves an extensive background and credit check

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience using Adobe Captivate, Techsmith Camtasia or similar tools
    • Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
    • Active Secret Clearance
