  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech is looking for a Splunk Administrator who will provide technical support to a Splunk project for a Federal client. This role involves requirements analysis, project planning and execution, tool and vendor evaluation and communication, and management consulting services at a large Federal Department/Agency.     Responsibilities

    • Support an agency Security Operations Center's Splunk usage to improve agency wide security visibility.
    • Provide basic knowledge of Splunk and train Splunk users on tool capabilities and innovations, when required. 
    • Assist in Splunk content development and create queries and dashboards.
    • Be part of a dynamic engineering team supporting the operations of Splunk and interagency integration.
    • Build best practices and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all standard tasks for entire agency. 

    Required Qualifications

    • Software Engineer with at least 3+ years of professional experience.
    • BS degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline.
    • Recent experience in an information security operations environment.
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • This position requires a badge and or clearance that requires an extensive background/ credit check.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Technical certifications (i.e. Security+, CEH, CISA, CISSP) highly desired.
    • Hands on experience as a Splunk Administrator also highly desired.
