  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech's Proposal Team is growing and actively seeking a Lead Proposal Graphics Designer to join us at our Headquarters in Tyson’s Corner, VA. The Lead Proposal Graphics Designer will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will be responsible for creating and developing proposal graphics from concept to production. This includes working with business and technical staff to convert complex concepts and messages into compelling visuals across successive iterations for inclusion in proposal volumes and marketing collateral, with primary responsibility for the graphics process, configuration management, and quality control.     Responsibilities

    • Capture proposal graphic requests from authors / content owners
    • Track requests to completion and maintain an art log for each proposal
    • Perform configuration management for all proposal files and versions
    • Conduct quality control activities on all graphics and visuals produced
    • Consult with authors / content owners to elaborate on their requirements, starting with initial concept and progressing to visual representation
    • Provide feedback to authors / content owners and present choices for each graphic
    • Show the impact of each choice across successive iterations and work toward consensus
    • Deliver all requested proposal graphics on schedule while balancing multiple concurrent projects and competing deadlines
    • Support the desktop publishing process for all types of proposal content, including formatting content for production
    • Develop, refine, and maintain templates in various formats
    • Develop production materials for hard copy proposal submissions and other printed materials, including binders and booklets
    • Develop rich, complex, and sophisticated presentations for sales, marketing, technology demonstrations, business development, capture, and oral proposals – tailoring the approach to the subject matter and target audience
    • Manage, refine, and enforce the proposal graphics process and its component process workflows as the process owner; this includes optimization for tools and software
    • Maintain and enhance existing standards for graphics design and best practices, including templates, icons, color palettes, style, and usage
    • Develop and maintain a graphics library for inspiration and appropriate reuse
    • Support the marketing team with development and production of marketing materials
    • Produce visuals for corporate initiatives and events on an ad hoc basis

    Required Qualifications

    • 8+ years of proposal graphic design experience
    • Experience creating graphics specifically for Federal Government proposals
    • Expert level skills experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator)
    • Expert level skills and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint both for individual graphics and for complex presentations
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
    • Conversant in IT concepts and technologies
    • Conversant in management frameworks and methodologies for delivery
    • Strong consulting skills; must be able to work with a wide range of content owners to elaborate on requirements and translate concepts into compelling visuals
    • Strong understanding of applicable design standards, tools, methods, and techniques; able to apply that understanding for continuous process improvement and to shape an organizational philosophy for graphic design
    • Able to work primarily on site with face-to-face interactions, including nights and weekends as needed to meet proposal deadlines
    • Able to support multiple concurring proposals or projects with concurrent schedules and competing deadlines

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience with a broad range of federal government clients
    • Experience with Shipley or similar industry standard for proposal development
    • Experience with multiple visual styles and approaches for presentations and graphics, including a portfolio with samples that demonstrate this experience
    • Experience with desktop publishing and formatting documents in Microsoft Word / Excel
    • Experience developing .dotx templates in Microsoft Word
