  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech's Business Solutions Practice is searching for a Project Analyst to provide traditional project management support to a federal agency located in Washington, DC. Ideal candidates should have experience supporting project schedules and cost, resources, quality, risk management, staffing, meetings, preparation of status reports and project/program documentation.     Responsibilities

    • Support project objectives and help assess the impact of industry trends, policy, or standard methodologies.
    • Provide direct management support to client program management staff.
    • Understanding of new technologies and the impacts on business processes.
    • Self-motivated contributing team member with a passion for project and financial management.
    • Client management and understanding the client/stakeholder needs and requirements.
    • Drafting project plans; managing task, time, resources, and cost.
    • Tracking and managing project financials and reporting to client/stakeholders.
    • Able to facilitate stakeholder meetings.
    • Assess and identify risks, issues, and escalate accordingly.
    • Provide recommendations for business process improvements.
    • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure priority assignments are executed effectively and efficiently.
    • Effectively communicates application and technical direction to the business and within the customer’s IT organization.

    Required Qualifications

    •  Bachelor’s degree
    •  3+ or more years’ experience with project management fundamentals
    •  Possess knowledge, experience, and capabilities in the development of solutions, recommendations, or outcomes across multiple tasks
    •  Must be able to multi-task the tracking of project schedule development, project control, risk management practices/issues, and project documentation processing/archiving between multiple simultaneous projects
    •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively and confidently with end users, technologists, team members and executive managementBulleted list here
    • Ability to rapidly research to determine answers to questions in collaboration with team members
    • Self-directed and motivated with strong organizational, systematic and orderly planning abilities, and high attention to detail
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with a high degree of expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Must be able to work with, manage, and maintain information stored in a Knowledge Sharing Network (KSN)/SharePoint site(s).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to obtain a Public Trust level. This position requires a badge and or clearance that requires an extensive background/ credit check. 

    Desired Qualifications

    • PMP Preferred
