  • About the Role

    eGlobaltech, one of Northern Virginia's fastest growing technology consulting firms, is looking for a Security  Analyst to help support a FISMA compliance Security Authorization Program for a federal customer located in Washington, DC. Qualified candidates should have experience supporting independent Security Authorization (formerly Certification and Accreditation (C&A)) and FISMA compliance services.     • Identify governance process and implementation gaps, weaknesses, and corrective actions for the organization's information security governance, risk, and compliance program.
    • Perform quality control on all work products and deliverables.
    • Develop practical and risk-based approaches for information security governance implementation and process improvement.
    • Compile, write, update, finalize, and produce all FISMA documentation and associated artifacts as required by Client in a manner compliant with all Federal security requirements and policies.
    • Load and maintain all supporting artifacts and information from these documents as appropriate for assigned systems into repositories.
    • As requested by the government, conduct Business Impact Analyses to support accuracy of system Contingency Plans. Create templates or other documents to ensure this effort is completed in a streamlined and efficient manner. Update all documentation as appropriate and based on results of exercise.
    • Manage Security Agreements for all systems, including creation, tracking, and vetting.
    • Initiate, manage and support all activities associated with the Security Program as required below:
      • Compile, write, update, review, finalize, produce, and support all requested documentation and updates to documentation for the program.
      • Generate documentation to support specific system enrollment and monthly meetings as requested by the government (including Agendas, action items, RMB and AO briefs).
      • Develop, provide, and/or facilitate training as directed by the Federal Government for ISSOs or other stakeholders as appropriate.
      • Compile, write, update, finalize, produce, and support all documents associated with the monthly Risk Management Board (RMB) meeting.
    • Review all ISSO provided documentation for accuracy and relevancy, provide follow-up to ISSOs to ensure documents are properly completed.

    Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience implementing governance, risk, and compliance programs for a federal customer
    • 3+ years’ experience performing security authorization and FISMA compliance
    • 2+ years’ experience conducting continuous monitoring or security assessment activities
    • Expert knowledge of NIST 800 series publications (e.g. 800-37, -30, -39, -53, -53A)
    • Experience with DHS 4300A, OMB A-130, OMB A-123
    • Certifications: At least one of the following active certifications Security+, CASP, GSEC, GSLC, CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CISA
    • Strong team work skills, project management and work sequencing skills
    • U.S. citizenship required, active DHS/Secret clearance a plus - This position requires a clearance and/or badge that involves an extensive background and credit check
