    eGlobalTech, one of Northern Virginia’s fastest growing Technology Consulting firms, is looking for a customer-oriented Mid-Level Enterprise Architect to join our Homeland Security Practice and support a growing project team in Alexandria, VA. Qualified candidates will have experience working in a client facing environment and preferably have experience supporting a federal solutions team. In this role you will translate requirements created by functional analysts into the architecture for that solution. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting Cyber and Information Security, Cloud Computing, or Data Architecture solutions.     Responsibilities

    The mid-level Enterprise Architect will:

    • Provide technology specialization to build quality infrastructure solutions that meet the requirements and advises clients on eGlobalTech Solution offerings, strategy, designs, specific technologies, implementation approaches and alternatives / tradeoffs.
    • Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated collection, security concerns, analysis and reporting.
    • Lead delivery of technology innovation services, strategic planning activities and business case development.
    • Adhere to industry recognized processes, architectural artifact requirements and architectural best practices.
    • Work with client stakeholders to evaluate the solution requirements and support the management and traceability of requirements during the engagement.
    • Work with client technical staff during the requirements definition and implementation to resolve issues.
    • Assume accountability for the infrastructure solution technology components and the successful implementation of the full solution. May include hands-on modeling, design, configuration, installation, performance tuning, prototyping and/or other efforts required to keep the project on a successful track.
    • Assign and review tasks, mentor junior architects, manage performance feedback, and create development plans consistent with performing the role of team leader or project manager Requirements
    • Provide progress and executive briefs. 

    Required Qualifications

    • Knowledge and expertise in Federal Enterprise Architecture standards and practices.
    • Prior experience as an Enterprise Architect/Business Analyst supporting a federal agency.
    • Knowledge and experience in developing business metrics and KPIs to measure productivity and performance of portfolios, programs, and projects.
    • Extremely good organizational skills with the ability to streamline discussions and thought processes into clear sets of goals, objectives, action items, and outcomes.
    • Ability to interact and manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders efficiently utilizing their time to extract pertinent information and details from them and diligently documenting them.
    • Excellent analytical skills with ability to come up with new and innovative approaches to solving complex and challenging problems.
    • Very good written and verbal communication skills with the strong ability to efficiently and effectively get messages across a diverse audience.
    • Strong expertise in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and similar applications.
    • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Experience developing and supporting Cloud Computing, Cyber and Information Security, or Data Architecture solutions.
    • Knowledge and expertise in one or more EA tools such as ORBUS, Troux, Alfabet, Systems Architect, and similar tools is a plus.

    Desired Qualifications

    • DHS experience preferred
    • Good problem-solving skills and capable of facilitating an environment for creative thinking and innovative ideas
    • Experience with supporting BD activities
    • Active Secret Clearance
