  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech is looking for a Cost Analyst who will provide IT software and hardware acquisition cost analysis to support our government client. The Cost Analyst will support the team with implementing a cost saving strategy for Enterprise Software Licenses. The Cost Analyst will be involved with IT Software and Hardware Acquisition Strategy Review and Spend Analytics to assist the client with identifying cost savings and increasing efficiency through the implementation of a SAM capability.  This is a long term, highly visible project with significant opportunities for growth. This role offers excellent compensation, opportunities for career growth, and our corporate benefits package (including 20 days PTO, holidays, corporate paid events, and various performance bonuses).


    • Provide analytic support on multiple tasks
    • Develop cost models to reflect total spend at multiple levels and identify savings opportunities
    • Work with the PM and other team members to develop executive level presentations
    • Support the coordination and logistics of necessary project execution tasks such as scheduling meetings, webex presentations, and documenting meeting minutes
    • Understand the clients requirements and produce the requested work products in MS Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
    • Reach out to stakeholders for required information for the various tasks
    • Collect and consolidate all the data collection effort on the clients iShare site
    • Analyze and quickly come up to speed on current project status, objectives, and goals moving forward
    • Responsible for timely delivery of high quality deliverables
    • Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer

    Required Qualifications

    • Associates Degree plus 5+ years of demonstrated experience with Information Technology Support for Asset Management (ITSAM) cost analysis. 
    • Experience with IT Category Management, Software Assest Management Lifecycle, Strategic Sourcing, Cost Models, Spend Analytics, etc.
    • Understanding of Federal IT SW and HW Acquisition Lifecycle
    • Capable of managing multiple tasks retaining deep understanding of current status, issues and risks with clear vision on execution strategy
    • Experience working with stakeholders to gather and assess data to develop informed written recommendations
    • Experience developing and capturing metrics
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally (phone and in-person) and in writing (reports and e-mail) to both technical and non-technical project stakeholders, management, and organizational leaders and executives
    • Experience with MS Office Suite to create presentations, reports, spreadsheets, workflows, etc.
    • This position requires the candidate be able to obtain a US government clearance which can require extensive background and/credit checks

    • Experience with supporting BD activities
    • Active Secret Clearance
