  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech is seeking to hire a Conference Room Technology Administrator, who will work on-site at the client location in Woodlawn, MD and support the Video Tele Conference (VTC) and Unified Communications (UC) systems that consists of multi-vendor platforms and infrastructures.  The Administrator will be part of a support team that consists of Managers, Leads, Engineers, Administrators and Operators.


    • Support Polycom, Cisco, WebEx Teams and other VTC components that make up the customers VTC and UC ecosystem.
    • Provide onsite standard and white glove support to manage Video Teleconferencing Systems and bridge connections.
    • Conduct troubleshooting, problem-solving, testing and vendor maintenance support for VTC systems and assets consisting of multi-vendor codecs, audio mixers, telepresence systems, controllers, endpoints and related equipment.
    • Perform installations, configurations, relocations, replacements and upgrades of VTC systems and assets.
    • Conduct end-user training on VTC and UC conference room features.
    • Support VTC/AV and UC equipment lifecycle management including project management of conference room equipment refresh.
    • Control inventory and configurations of all conference room equipment and components.
    • Maintain asset management of VTC/AV and UC conference room assets.
    • Conduct routine maintenance of video cameras, microphones, display units, smart boards, speakers, amplifiers and other VTC associated equipment.
    • Conduct pre-meeting quality assurance checks to include camera initialization, VTC dialing schedules, Mic prep, and more.
    • Utilize Service Now ticketing system for service requests, incidents, tasks and change management.
    • Conduct market research and provide full analysis of results with ability to promote recommendations, innovative services and concepts.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a technology-based field.
    • 4+ years in video over IP and voice over IP in multi-vendor video conferencing technologies.
    • Experience and knowledge in VTC technology including systems, multi-vendor equipment, integration, operation, compatibility, troubleshooting techniques, procedures and testing.
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities in VTC technology and conference room components.
    • Ability to multitask and manage customer logistics for scheduling and planning.
    • Detail oriented with strong customer service, communications and organization skills.
    • Ability to develop presentations, reports, white papers, knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures.
    • Ability to clear Public Trust security background investigation.
    • Ability to report onsite at client location in Woodlawn, MD.

    Desired Qualifications

    • CCNA Collaboration certification (or any relevant collaboration certifications).
    • Project Management relevant certifications and/or experience.
    • Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) focused experience.
