  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech is looking for an Agile Coach who will support a prominent federal agency in coaching one or more teams on agile best practices and enable them to leverage agile to boost productivity, quality, and consistency. The role requires an individual with a broad technical background with proficient (written and verbal) communication and organization skills to assist the Government client manage a large and diverse set of websites, systems, tools, and technologies. This opportunity offers excellent compensation and career growth opportunities, benefit packages that include 20 days PTO, continuing education bonuses, 401K w/ 3% matching after 90 days, and paid holidays and corporate events.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a technical advisory capacity with a team of consultants and federal government stakeholders to support an IT program management office (PMO) in a major government agency
    • Provide expertise gained from education and previous professional services in the area of technical consulting, business analysis, and project management
    • Support program activities and interact with client personnel, including senior leadership to accomplish program objectives
    • Provide support to Government PMO leadership with technical guidance, project management, business case development, stakeholder management, analysis and data collection, communication, and reporting to ensure effective execution
    • Assist the government client operate and mature IT programs, services, and processes
    • Provide technical advice to projects related to IT systems and websites
    • Assist the government in troubleshooting technical issues and developing solutions to address them
    • Assist the government with the implementation of new technology tools, processes, and policies in support of PMO programs
    • Provide insight and experience supporting federal website implementation, including guidance on tool implementations that support technology areas such as content management and website development

    Required Qualifications

    • 8 years of IT consulting or IT project management experience
    • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 1 year of experience on a software/website/application development project as a Business Analyst, Tester, or Software Developer adhering to an agile process
    • Hands on experience working as a team lead or scrum master in an agile development environment
    • Experience with IT governance and the system development lifecycle
    • Ability to collaborate and gain trust in a diverse, political, and intense environment
    • Excellent written skills including the development of presentations, memos, and visual diagrams
    • Keen ability to use whiteboards to articulate ideas and thoughts in a compelling manner
    • Excellent verbal skills including the ability to chair, lead, and moderate meetings that may involve conflicting opinions from stakeholders
    • Able to communicate effectively and confidently with end users, technologists, team members, and executive management
    • Excellent attention to detail and process-driven methodologies
    • Ability to analyze project requirements and make appropriate recommendations
    • Ability to obtain Public Trust level clearance
    • This position requires a clearance and/or badge that involves an extensive background and credit check

    Desired Qualifications

    • Scrum Master certification or other agile development certification
    • Experience supporting IT projects in the federal government environment
    • Hands-on experience with ALM tools such as Rally, JIRA, or other similar tool
    • Website development or management experience, preferably within the federal government environment
    • System development or management experience, preferably within the federal government environment
    • Experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO) and/or supporting large governance programs
