  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech, one of the fastest growing federal contractors in the DMV, is looking for a Federal Acquisitions Specialist to join a team of hard working and energetic individuals serving our federal clients.  The candidate will work with financial analysts and other subject matter experts to determine procurement strategies to effectively meet program needs in accordance with cost, schedule, and technical requirements. This opportunity offers excellent compensation and career growth opportunities, benefit packages that include 20 days PTO, continuing education bonuses, 401K w/ 3% matching after 90 days, and paid holidays and corporate events.


    • Support the development of program acquisition documentation such as Purchase Request (PR) and acquisition documents, including Acquisition Plans, Statements of Works (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), Performance Works Statements (PWS), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs), Cost Estimates, Market Research, Executive Summary and Acquisition Planning Forecast System Records (APFSR)
    • Attend, participate, support, analyze, provide input, develop, prepare and report on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards
    • Conduct financial trend analysis, life cycle acquisition tracking, including data entry, file maintenance, and data retrieval and reporting functions
    • Prepare documentation, reports, and project plans to describe activities planned and accomplished, status reports, letters, memorandums, messages, and contact reports
    • Prepare and may assist in presenting formal briefings and staff seminars

    Required Qualifications

    • 2-3+ years of experience with acquisitions support
    • Awareness of procurement statutes and federal acquisition regulations (FAR), contracting methods, policies, procedures and contract types, and pre- and post-award procurement actions
    • Knowledge of various contract types including Firm-Fixed-Price, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, and Time and Materials, and conditions for use of such contracts
    • Knowledge of government or other contracting environment
    • Ability to apply knowledge of the acquisition process to support customers in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures
    • Excellent MS Excel skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication with strong organization skills
    • This position requires a clearance and/or badge that involves an extensive background and credit check

    Desired Qualifications

    • Active Secret or DHS clearance
