  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech is looking for a Senior Security Consultant/SME to provide technical and strategic subject matter expertise in support of a large United States Government department/agency's FedRAMP activities. Duties will be performed in the following areas: program development, technical guidance and evolving technical security guidelines, security assessment reviews, and cloud service provider engagement.

    Responsibilities

    • Be able to communicate effectively through written and verbal means to co-workers and senior leadership
    • Be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously; coordinating and ensuring scheduled goals are met
    • Be prepared to offer security-related guidance on business processes, emerging technology and acquisitions, and programmatic (PMO) assessment/mitigation approaches

    Required Qualifications

    • 8+ years of experience in information security, with a concentration on FedRAMP security controls. Experience must demonstrate working knowledge in all phases of preparing and reviewing complete ATO packages for information technology systems and/or applications as defined by the Federal Information Security Modernization Act and implemented by the guidance of the GSA Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). 
    • Must possess a strong background with NIST Risk Management Framework (SP 800-53)
    • Be able to work well with collateral Subject Matter Experts, analysts and managers on related programs
    • Strong documentation, presentation, analytics and Technical writing experience
    • The ideal candidate will thrive in an fast paced environment that demands accountability from each team member; demonstrate a broad range skills in the fields of NIST publications, FISMA requirements and reporting, privacy data identification and handling, security engineering, certification and accreditation (C&A) procedures, security architecture, vulnerability assessments and policy development
    • Must have at least a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts degree

    Desired Qualifications

    Experience with DHS or DoD requirements are a plus.

    Security certification such as CISSP, GSEC, CAP, CISM desired.
