  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech is looking for an Agile Coach who will support a prominent federal agency in coaching one or more teams on agile best practices and enable them to leverage agile to boost productivity, quality, and consistency. The role requires an individual with a broad technical background with proficient (written and verbal) communication and organization skills to assist the Government client manage a large and diverse set of websites, systems, tools, and technologies.

    • Provide organizational level assistance to support the adoption of Agile principles and practices, including change management
    • Assist teams in defining and adopting best Agile practices in development, requirements management, testing, and deployments
    • Be a primary contributor in the development of Agile policies, practices and processes
    • Provide technical Agile coaching support to build team capability within components for code development, automated testing and frameworks, test automation frameworks, production monitoring, and continuous delivery/integration in cloud based environments
    • Guide engineers on Agile technical best practices and emerging technology
    • Stakeholder management of all key stakeholders of large-scale IT programs

    Required Qualifications

    • 3-5+ years of experience on a software development project as a hands-on software developer adhering to an agile process
    • Hands-on experience in one or more agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, Kanban, and Lean
    • Experience with ALM tools such as Rally, JIRA or similar. 
    • Hands-on experience in agile engineering techniques such as TDD, Continuous Integration, Test automation
    • Experience with CI/CD tools
    • Must be able to analyze existing design & software code and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Extremely organized and methodical in handling multiple tasks and issues
    • Must be a quick learner who is passionate about emerging technologies
    • Ability to collaborate and gain trust in a multi-cultural , diverse, and intense environment
    • Excellent written skills that may include development of PowerPoint presentations, memos, and visual diagrams
    • Keen ability to utilize whiteboards to articulate ideas and thoughts in a compelling manner within a limited period of time
    • Excellent verbal skills including the ability to chair, lead, and moderate meetings that may involve conflicting opinions from stakeholders
    • Position requires candidate to obtain/maintain federal government clearance
    •  Must be certified professions in Scrum and SAFe 4.5

    Desired Qualifications

    • DHS experience preferred
    • Good problem-solving skills and capable of facilitating an environment for creative thinking and innovative ideas
    • Experience with supporting BD activities
    • Active Secret Clearance
