  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech (eGT) is seeking a motivated Data Analyst to provide key support to a Federal Government client and play a leading role providing management consulting, business and data analysis expertise. Support program activities and interact with client personnel, including senior leadership to accomplish multiple program objectives. Act as a senior consultant in complex or mission critical client requirements to develop executive dashboards. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities to add value for our clients and stakeholders.

    • Primary role is to conduct data analysis and develop various executive dashboards that support the President's Management Agenda (PMA) Cross-Agency Priority (CAP) Goal - Major Acquisitions.
    • Duties may include facilitating groups and committees, collect, analyze and report acquisitions/portfolio management status updates, strategic alignment with agency mission, strategic goals, performance metrics, and strong reporting functions.
    • Collect data by coordinating with external organizations to populate dashboards that include major contracts, projects, and programs.
    • Conduct data analysis on contract functions using data from the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey, Human Capital Benchmarking, FPDS, Fedscope, and FAITAS.
    • Build dashboards that represent the status of major acquisitions from various organizations
    • Develop performance metrics and identify opportunities to resolve complex acquisition issues
    • Assist in portfolio management by aligning portfolios with strategic goals and performance metrics
    • Capture business requirements from stakeholders and support group facilitation sessions
    • Provide recommendations to develop hypotheses and run various data analysis scenarios.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 8 years of professional work experience, preferably in a consulting capacity within the federal government setting
    • Must have practical knowledge of and experience with the data analytics tool, Tableau
    • Proven experience in activity and data-driven business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements
    • Strong critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills, leadership skills, and acquisitions background/understanding.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to communicate effectively and confidently with end users, team members and executive management
    • Ability to rapidly research to independently determine answers to questions 
    • Self-directed and motivated with strong organizational, systematic and orderly planning abilities, and high attention to detail
    • Ability to perform/support industry analysis and assist the client with portfolio management by providing analytical reports.
    • Ability to work independently
    • Must be able to obtain a US government clearance.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience with Federal Government Acquisitions
    • Business management consulting experience within the Federal Government space or must be strong enough to recommend solutions and lead customer, not solely rely on customer guidance.
