  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech's Proposal Team is growing and actively seeking a Proposal Manager to join us at our Headquarters in Arlington, VA. The Proposal Manager will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will be responsible for managing every phase of the proposal development process, from kick-off to submission, with minimal oversight. This process includes playing a hands-on role to ensure all components of the proposal are completed in an efficient, compliant, and timely manner.     Responsibilities

    • Define timelines and milestones for multiple simultaneous proposal efforts and ensure adherence to those timelines.
    • Develop outlines that present a compelling, innovative, and compliant approach to developing proposals.
    • Provide guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to proposal writers/contributors.
    • Shred RFPs and contribute to Go/No Go meetings and decisions.
    • Identify proposal development risks and propose creative mitigation strategies.
    • Use library content to pre-develop executive summaries and management approaches.
    • Track proposal information such as Q&As; review and identify the changes and their impact on the proposal. Document and discuss these impacts with the team and develop innovative ideas to address them.
    • Ensure past performance/resume updates are compliant with the proposal requirements and they are completed in timely manner.
    • Coordinate and lead proposal kick off, color review, and lessons learned meetings; ensure resulting action items and comments are addressed.
    • Review drafts to ensure proposal content flows, is consistent, is fully compliant, and effectively communicates a compelling technical approach.
    • Perform desktop publishing in Microsoft Word throughout the proposal process and to finalize proposal documents.
    • Perform editing on proposals and other materials as needed.
    • Coordinate with graphic designers to ensure visually appealing graphics align to proposal content.
    • Participate in the development and review of win strategies and themes.
    • Manage communication with internal clients, including Chief Officers, Vice Presidents, other executives, and technical staff.
    • Liaise with other departments like Pricing and Contracts.

    Required Qualifications

    • At least three years of direct proposal management experience including full life-cycle proposal writing, management, and development.
    • Experience managing responses to Federal RFPs and GWACs with a successful win record.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Understanding of Federal procurement policies and practices.
    • Familiarity using SharePoint (or similar tool) to facilitate proposal development.
    • Outstanding attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.
    • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word.
    • Strong desktop publishing skills in addition to strong copy and content editing skills.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience applying the Shipley proposal processes.
    • Proven ability to plan, produce, and deliver compliant proposals in a complex environment.
    • Ability to coach writers on proposal industry best practices as well as corporate standards.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at a senior level.
