  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech (eGT) is looking for an individual join a fast paced and hard working team that would provide project management and technical support to Federal Customer Data Center Division’s Service Delivery Operations. With eGT, you will have the opportunity to support technical implementations of Federal Customer systems and services and IT implementation processes and procedures for all enterprise and customer business systems and data center operations, as well as the opportunity to be a part of one of the fastest growing business management consulting firms in the DMV. This role entails performing technical systems analysis, defining detailed infrastructure implementation requirements, analyzing business needs, and validating solutions with our Federal client and stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical and programmatic management support for multiple projects/efforts ensuring delivery of solutions are completed on schedule
    • Analyze and quickly come up to speed on current project scope, requirements, status, objectives and goals moving forward
    • Review project plans, schedules, and spend plans working in close conjunction with the client and relevant stakeholders
    • Responsible for advising on the delivery/execution and tracking of projects costs, schedules, risks, issues and performance
    • Review and advise on schedules and prepares project portfolio status reports
    • De-conflict a portfolio of project schedules and operations and maintenance activities with each other at the Data Centers; and recommends implementation solutions to minimize schedule slips/impacts
    • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervening and problem solving with Data Center customer and customer management to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives
    • Provide leadership to customer and/or company staff based on contract goals and customer/company policy
    • Work reviewed in terms of meeting contract objectives and schedules
    • Interpret and execute operating policies and procedures that affect the project team
    • Recommend modifications to operating policies 
    • Coordinate and facilitate project activities to meet customer and data center IT implementation schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
    • Directly participate in establishing and executing project controls
    • Ensure that the project is completed on schedule and within budget
    • Review project estimates and work to establish baseline schedule while considering CIO priorities and other projects
    • Participate actively within the team by sharing information
    • Assist in providing technical guidance to less senior technical staff
    • Interact closely with managers, colleagues, and customers
    • Analyze customer/mission needs to determine functional requirements
    • Perform functional analysis to identify required tasks and their interrelationships

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or directly related field (e.g., Information Technology, Information Science, etc.)
    • 4-6 years of experience with technical project management expertise in the areas of Data Center Infrastructure, Cloud (IaaS), technical integrations, consolidations, and enterprise services
    • Experience in the documentation of technical processes, procedures, and work instructions to support IT Infrastructure Implementations and Operations
    • Experience in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Word
    • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance provided by senior leadership
    • Effective verbal and written communication
    • This position requires a clearance and/or badge that involves an extensive background and credit check

    Desired Qualifications

    • PMP and ITIL certifications preferred but not required
