  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech has an immediate opening for a Project Manager to support the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) for a Federal government client. In this role, the Project Manager will work with the Federal agency’s Chief Architect, the OCIO’s intra-departmental partners, and subject matter experts to drive transformation to address the Agency’s highest IT priorities.


    Candidates should have technical knowledge in Agile Project Management, Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Software Development, Portfolio Management, and Business Process Reengineering.

    A successful candidate must be flexible and thrive in an agile and highly-collaborative environment.

    Candidates must perform both managerial and client delivery of tasks for this engagement.



    • Serves as primary liaison to agency’s Chief Architect and supporting Federal staff to manage client initiatives and requirements
    • Manages and provides direction to a team of technical and non-technical staff including business analysts and software developers
    • Manages project resources and monitor project schedule
    • Manages the development and maintenance of the agency’s EA repository and reporting tool
    • Continually evaluates the portfolio of applications and work in collaboration with OCIO staff and business/system owner in developing system life cycle refresh plans and roadmaps
    • Documents current state and future state architectures for agency’s business organizations (business services provided, value proposition, customer segments, and key technologies), including an assessment of people, processes, and technologies
    • Develops gap analysis and closure plans, including analysis of the gaps between current and future states and a transition plan to close the gaps, prioritized based upon business value and dependencies
    • Provides strategic thought leadership for agency OCIO executives, including Chief Enterprise Architect
    • Drives development of IT tactical plans, performance metrics, objectives, and key results
    • Develops and manages a set of technology and business standards necessary to help accelerate the movement towards the future state
    • Ensures the agency’s EA aligns with agency’s IT portfolio

    Required Qualifications

    • 10 years of relevant experience
    • 5 years of experience managing staff
    • 3 years of direct experience working in an agile/scrum development environment
    • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Atlassian Jira, Trello, and Google Suite of tools
    • Working knowledge of EA frameworks including the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF) v2 and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)
    • Demonstrated experience in Federal IT and management consulting
    • Exceptional written and oral communication, critical thinking, and analysis skills
    • Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
    • Ability to independently stay up to date with recent technology trends and practices
    • Ability to mentor and guide staff
    • Possess Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Possess Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or other leading agile certification

    Desired Qualifications

    • Understanding of Technology Business Management (TBM)
    • Firm understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS) platforms and technologies
    • Experience working with IT enterprise operations and systems
