    • Gather, research, and synthesize information from designated databases or other government sources, and/or open source websites
    • Analyze and apply techniques to research publicly available information, such as media, blogs, public hearings, conferences, academic websites, social media websites to include, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, radio, television, press, geospatial sources, internet sites, and specialized publications with intent to extract pertinent information
    • Use the open source information to identify actionable intelligence in addition to enhancing investigative findings, which includes, but is not limited to:
      • Identification of recent valid address
      • Enhancement of subject identification
      • Performing trend analysis
      • Identification of criminal activity and derogatory information
    • Write and edit documents to include proofreading and grammar skills
    • Generate reports from Excel, SharePoint, or other systems and analyzing data
    • Document meeting minutes, agendas and action items
    • Extract and organize statistical data to support the building of metrics reports, summaries, and case studies
    • This position requires a clearance and/or badge that involves an extensive background and credit check

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required
    • Ability to obtain a government clearance, active secret or top secret clearance a plus
    • Strong experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or SharePoint;
    • This position requires a minimum of three years relevant experience in the following areas:
      • Gathering, analyzing, and composing technical information
      • Conducting research and ensuring the use of proper technical terminology
      • Translating technical information to clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel
      • Organizing material and writing descriptive copy according to establish standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
      • Independently, develops, writes, and edits functional descriptions, specifications, special reports or any other customer deliverables and documents
      • Experience in extracting information from databases and other government databases

    Desired Qualifications

    • Meticulous attention to detail and effective professional correspondence
    • Ability to understand various subject matters including Immigration law, visas processing, information technology, and project management
