  • About the Role

    eGT is seeking a hands-on Technical Manager with a strong project manager and scientific grants background to lead a dynamic team of technical and functional domain experts in support of our government health client’s mission. This position will be responsible for managing and coordinating the team’s work load, while participating in hands-on functional analysis tasks supporting the client requirements. The ideal candidate will identify process improvements and bring efficiencies to our team’s operations.


    • Responsible for resource, scope, and task management for ongoing operational support tasks
    • Perform hands-on analysis tasks in support of the client mission and requirements
    • Analyze technical, scientific, and health-related information using natural language processing, data visualization, machine learning, and text mining tools. 
    • Analyze and propose technology and tools to improve the client operations
    • Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry
    • Create, review, and update program documents to include SOPs, requirements, and other operational documents
    • Work with Federal Project Manager, internal and external customers, and special project teams
    • Perform and support PM duties including schedule, risks, and issue management
    • Responsible for communicating and interfacing with the client stakeholders

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, 7 + years of overall experience
    • 4+ years of functional and/or technical analysis experience in grants management
    • Experience working in the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics domain
    • Hands on Agile/Scrum experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills, experience with machine learning/artificial intelligence 
    • Demonstrated business process improvement expertise
    • Project Management experience, CAPM, PMP, or similar PMI certifications required
    • CSM or similar Agile certifications
    • Position requires a clearance and/or badge, US Citizenship or Green Card per government contract

    Desired Qualifications

    • Degree in research and/or science desirable
    • Experience in a science, medical, grants and/or research industry
    • Experience with high volume/high performance database platforms such as SAP Hanna a plus
    • Experience with Natural Language Processing
    • Experience with visualization and analytic tools such as SAP Lumera, SAS and R a plus
    • Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) a plus
