eGlobalTech, an IT solutions, Cyber Security, and Management Consulting Firm based in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager / Controller to lead our accounting operations team. In this role you will oversee a team of junior/mid-level persons responsible for accounts receivable, client billing, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting and analysis, and accounting policy and procedures. • Work closely with Contracts, Delivery Managers and Executive management to effectively manage day-to-day Accounting operations.
• Besides leading the Accounting department, suitable individual will work on various corporate financial tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, etc.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of accounts, fixed assets, general ledger and other balance sheet accounts.
• Manage and process the complete cycle of accounts payable and receivable.
• Manage and process invoices, expense reports, and other payment requests while reviewing for accuracy, documentation, and contract compliance.
• Manage and process monthly client billing ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all bills.
• Track expenses and report funding variances with all projects and subcontractors.
• Work with contracts team and Delivery Program Managers to review accounting related issues with new and existing clients and subcontractor agreements.
• Prepare corporate financial reports as needed
• Be responsible for Deltek hosted-Costpoint 7.x financial system and Time & Expense, day-to-day hands-on usage of all Costpoint modules, troubleshoot any issues, perform system administration
• Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Work with external auditors for annual audit.
• Be responsible for payroll. Manage payroll vendor to process the complete cycle of payroll and end-of-year W-2’s and 1099’s.
• Provide guidance and monitor employee time collection
• Supervise accounting staff personnel.
• Maintain and mentor accounting staff by recruiting, orienting, coaching and training employees.

• Hands-on experience with Govcon financial systems. Deltek CostPoint strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of senior level Accounting/Finance experience with a small to mid-sized government contractor
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Experience managing, training, and mentoring junior-level staff
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines without comprising quality
