  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech, named one of DC’s Fastest Growing Technology Consulting Firms, is looking for a Facility Security Officer to take our existing corporate security program to the next level! This is a newly created role we are bringing in house and looking for a Facility Security Officer (FSO) who is excited about security training, corporate security strategy, and supporting a fast-paced consulting firm. Qualified candidates must have at least a Top-Secret Clearance and be able to work out of our Arlington, VA HQ.     Responsibilities

    • Work in a collaborative team environment to provide oversight for, and ensure compliance of, Company and Government security requirements.
    • Provide security management oversight, leadership and guidance towards Intelligence National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirements.
    • Manage personnel security investigations, security clearance and accesses via the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), client systems and other processes.
    • Administer incoming and outgoing security clearance and access visit authorizations, classified meeting requirements, and company and client badging requirements.
    • Manage NISP physical and facility security access control authorizations.
    • Develop and conduct initial/recurring/annual security education training and briefings.
    • Develop, implement and enforce Security Operating Procedures (SOP)
    • Promote awareness of and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
    • Provide security subject matter expertise towards business development efforts such as requests for information, proposals, security requirements and qualifications.
    • Provide training in security best practices, insider threat and counterintelligence awareness and other subjects as the security landscape changes.
    • Maintain positive and proactive relationship with all Contracting Officers (CO, COR, COTR) to ensure efficient processing and transition of new and continuing contracts.
    • Maintain positive and proactive relationship with all subcontracting FSOs and security representatives to ensure compliance with government regulations and prompt processing of visitor requests.

    Required Qualifications

    • Active and in scope Top Secret personnel security clearance.
    • Associate Degree (Bachelor preferred) in security management or appropriate field and 2+ years of demonstrated, recent experience in government, national industrial security programs, preferably within the DoD.
    • Strong working knowledge of DHS Public Trust clearance practices and procedures
    • Strong working knowledge of National Industrial Security Programs (NISP) and Department of Defense (DoD) security requirements.
    • Significant experience with personnel security processes, e.g. SF 86 Personnel Security Questionnaires and other related forms, electronic fingerprinting, JPAS and eQIP.
    • Classification management experience regarding generation, receipt, handling, storage, discussion, reproduction, and destruction of classified information for training purposes.
    • Experience implementing other Information, Personnel, Physical, Communications and Operations Security programs and requirements.
    • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication, relationship and teambuilding skill.
