  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech, one of DC's fastest growing technology firms, is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect with proven experience and expertise to support strategy, planning and implementation for all areas of Federal enterprise architecture (EA).  Qualified candidates will have extensive experience with TOGAF, DODAF, and FEAF and a strong understanding of the Systems Engineering Life-Cycle. This opportunity is Alexandria, VA and offers excellent compensation and career growth opportunities, and benefit packages that include (20 days PTO, continuing education bonuses, 401K w/ up to 3% matching after just 90 days, and paid holidays and corporate events).

    Responsibilities

    • Support the Design Review process as a Primary System Reviewer (PSR) by coordinating design reviews with project teams, evaluating system/application design artifacts for adherence to TSA architecture standards, and facilitating round-table reviews for significant system/application releases.
    • Conduct analysis to support the creation of as-is and to-be architectural views.
    • Identify and develop process improvement opportunities in the design review process and EAD operations overall.
    • Lead and Direct large teams with diverse functional and technical disciplines to include enterprise architects, systems engineers, business analysts, and systems administrators.
    • Work directly with senior executives of the Federal agency to consult, coach, and advise on strategy, business alignment, enterprise architecture, information technology solutions, and the associated impact on the organization and its stakeholders.
    • Coordinate resolution of highly complex problems and tasks, promoting new ideas and concepts in support of Agency operational and mission goals and objectives.
    • Provide technical and analytical guidance to the Agency executive team - Integrate and translate complex concepts into tactical action plans.
    • Direct high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
    • Support the Design Review process as a Primary System Reviewer (PSR) by coordinating design reviews with project teams, evaluating system/application design artifacts for adherence to TSA architecture standards, and facilitating round-table reviews for significant system/application releases.
    • Conduct analysis to support the creation of as-is and to-be architectural views
    • Identify and develop process improvement opportunities in the design review process and EAD operations overall
    • Bachelor's Degree

    Required Qualifications

    • 5 to 10 years of experience in Federal IT and a proven track record with Strategy & Architecture engagements either within a consultancy or large Federal government environment.
    • TOGAF, DoDAF, FEAF, and Zachman experience. 
    • Experience serving as a technology adviser in the scope of significant business change initiatives.
    • Breadth of technical experience across Applications, Infrastructure, Data and Platform Architecture with extensive experience in one or more technology areas.
    • Business experience in implementing complex business process changes within organizations.
    • Previous experience in successfully using an EA framework in an enterprise IT context.
    • Understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC)
    • Strong proficiency with MS Excel, Visio, SharePoint and PowerPoint
    • This position requires a clearance and/or badge that involves an extensive background and credit check

    • Active Secret Clearance, DHS Suitability Badge, or Public Trust
