  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech's Award Winning Cyber and Information Security Practice is looking for a Technical Writer to join a newly created federal consulting team located in Washington, DC. Qualified candidates must have exceptional writing skills, knowledge of Cyber and Information Security, and actively possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline to be eligible for this role.     • Independently manage all project-related documentation.  Write and review technical and non-technical documentation in an information technology environment.
    • Assist with the authoring, proofing and quality control of project documentation, technical reports, research publications and presentations.
    • Create and assist with the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
    • Contribute ideas and suggestions for additional documentation and research papers.
    • Make recommendations and inspire change for federal clients and project teams comprised of Information Systems Security Officers and other members of a Cyber Security Pratice. 

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a Related Discipline.
    • At least two years relevant experience in Technical writing; preferrably experience in Information and Cyber Security programs. 
    • Demonstrated experience writing and reviewing technical and non-technical documentation in an information technology environment.
    • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying close attention to detail.
    • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
    • Good presentation skills with partners.
    • Exceptional teammate with the ability to quickly develop and nurture cross-functional relationship.
    • This position requires a clearance and/or badge that involves an extensive background and credit check.
