  • About the Role

    eGlobalTech, one of DC’s fastest growing technology consulting firms, is looking for a Technical Project Manager to provide project management and consulting support to a computer security incident response capability organization.  In this fast-paced environment,

    you will serve as eGT’s on-site lead in the management and oversight of the eGT support team based in Atlanta, including escalation of delivery issues to the contract PM and DPM, staff management, and conducting annual performance assessments for Atlanta-based staff members.     Responsibilities

    • Lead, plan, facilitate, and manage the IT/information security project management review sessions and processes
    • Develop and recommend projects, operations, and performance management metrics and improvements
    • Prepare preliminary drafts and analyses related to Cybersecurity Program activities and initiatives
    • Maintain and communicate dashboard tools that report organizational performance metrics
    • Provide project management across areas such as:
      • Endpoint Security Solutions
      • Enterprise Log Management Solutions
      • Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools
      • IT Systems Lifecycle Refresh and Network System Installations (both Trusted Internet Connection and Security Solutions)
    • Observe production, developmental or experimental activities to determine operating procedure and detail
    • Prepare flow charts, graphs and related explanatory materials that may be included in documents or online help systems
    • Prepare special reports, articles or related material on products of a technical or administratively complex nature based on consulting with developers and trainers, research, investigation, analysis and knowledge of complex or technical products
    • Produce complex materials that convey scientific, technical, or legal information
    • Establish and maintain ongoing working relationships with management, other employees, internal or external stakeholders and customers
    • Proactively recommend and implement solutions to resolve issues identified
    • Collaborate and forge strong relationships with Directors and Program Managers to remain aware of projects, operations, and other organizational activities

    Required Qualifications

     

    • Minimum 6 years professional experience with a background in management consulting and/or performance management
    • Experience working in a SOC, NOC, fusion center, or in an incident response role
    • Task lead experience with the ability to build and manage client relationships
    • Ability to advise and make recommendations to clients on best practices
    • IT Project Management experience specifically around hardware/equipment deployment, installation, and configuration
    • Strong understanding of networking and protocols such as TCP/IP and virtualization
    • Experience developing metrics in an IT organization (either service desk, information security, and/or systems administration metrics)
    • Bachelors' degree
    • This position requires a clearance and/or badge that involves an extensive background and credit check

    Desired Qualifications

    • Technical certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, MCSA, etc.
