About the Role

eGlobalTech is searching for a network engineer analyst to will thrive in our fast-paced environment, while providing technical support and issue management and resolution for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Continuous and Diagnostic Management (CDM) Project Management Office (PMO) organization. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the implementation of network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Analyze implementation issues and coordinate troubleshooting efforts to bring them to resolution.
  • Lead problem management and root cause analysis discussions with fellow network engineers and analysts.
  • Assess and document site network configuration and user requirements utilizing Visio, Microsoft Project, or other network diagramming software.
  • Effectively communicate technical issues to management and other non-technical staff.
  • Identify technical risks, analyze impacts, and develop and carry out mitigation strategies for resolution.
  • Perform technical review on technical documentations including requirements, concept of operations, architecture and solution design, testing, operations, help desk support, etc.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other groups, including security management group, data center, infrastructure/network team, change management team, help desk, etc.
  • Act as technical subject matter expert and provide technical training and support to other analysts.
  • Ability to effectively manage and participate in projects or tasks without supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in computer network, infrastructure, hardware, and security management experiences.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, credential management, Splunk, and STIGs are required.
  • Knowledge of McAfee, ForeScout, Tenable, and Retina software is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of mobile and cloud architecture and hands-on usage is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and abstract reasoning.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Self-motivated and self-started problem solver and team player.
  • Intermediate or expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel is a plus.
  • This position requires a clearance and/or badge that involves an extensive background and credit check.
