Subcontracts Manager

About the Role

eGlobalTech is seeking a Subcontracts Manager who will be responsible for managing, directing, and controlling the sub-contracting functions for the firm’s multiple contracts and programs.  This includes full lifecycle of subcontract administration, handling complex issues regarding subcontracts and providing strategic input to executive management.   An individual who has worked in a similar capacity with a government contractor is desirable.


  • Directs and coordinates the subcontract functions with a focus on development and administration of subcontracts involving the federal government
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with subcontractors
  • Leads subcontract negotiations including both contractual and business terms
  • Oversees and supports development of formal teaming arrangements, Non-Disclosure agreements, subcontract agreements, consulting agreements, reseller agreements, as well as vendor agreements
  • Participates in the review of RFPs to identify contractual risks and compliance requirements, including submission of questions.
  • Leads the development and negotiation of Subcontractor RFQ/RFPs in support of business development, and ensures Subcontractor compliance with the prime RFP, regulatory requirements, and corporate policy
  • Supports the establishment of policies and procedures for compliance to federal government contracting rules and regulations
  • Provide reports on Procurement Actions; Teaming Agreements; Non-Disclosure Agreements and Consulting Agreements, Areas of Risk, and Regulatory Compliance issues
  • Lead subcontracts point of contact for all internal and external audits
  • Supports subcontractor government property oversight to include the interface with audit agencies
  • Assist in meeting all corporate goals and objectives

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of subcontract administration experience with the federal government
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience with complex proposals and negotiations
  • Experience with developing risk mitigation plans of varying degrees of complexity for regulatory compliance issues, contractual performance, and vendor / supplier oversight
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFAR Supplement
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and SharePoint




  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline

  • National Contract Management Association (NCMA) certification desired
