About the Role

Serves as a Project Manager/Business Analyst to support client initiatives in building business intelligence (BI) solutions. Possesses the ability to interpret functional requirements into technical/BI solutions. Follows and enforces Agile processes for rapid and iterative solutions development.

Responsibilities

  • Supports development of complex Business Intelligence solutions with multiple authoritative data sources
  • Conducts extensive research to gather, analyze, and compose functional, technical, and data requirements for enterprise BI solutions
  • Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry
  • Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
  • Works with Federal Project Manager, internal and external customers, and special project teams
  • Composes, writes, and edits a variety of technical documents
  • Records meeting minutes for distribution to participants as required
  • Performs and supports PM duties including schedule, tasks, risks, and issue management
  • Refines high-level requirements into detailed, development-ready user stories

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
  • 5+ years of IT experience
  • 2+ years of Project Management and/or Business Analyst experience
  • 1+ years of experience with building Business Intelligence solutions
  • Hands on Agile/Scrum experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proven experience working with customers in gathering requirements, writing user stories and documenting business processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective at communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with ALM tools such as Rally, JIRA Agile craft, Version One or similar
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
  • Knowledge of the US Immigration domain
  • Active DHS Clearance
