About the Role

Provide support on the Enterprise Architecture team. Responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of process flow diagrams generated during meetings with a wide range of business stakeholders with widely ranging business agendas. Utilize a basic knowledge of IT and collaborate with more senior consultants to generate creative and innovative solutions that result in business improvement. Develop recommendations resulting in the design, development, and enhancement of agency business processes.


  • Plan, schedule, and conduct meetings with a wide variety of business stakeholders with attention to the professional details that make meetings a success
  • Prepare and send the agenda, coordinate schedule changes, document meeting outputs and share them in a timely fashion
  • Conduct requirements gathering through cross-functional working groups and meeting facilitation
  • Manage multiple data sources and collections from varied sources to develop draft presentations, strategy deliverables, plans, synopsis, etc.
  • Develop a clear understanding of customer business needs/requirements
  • Develop business models and process models that illustrate the current state and future state using Visio, Google Suite, and MS Office Suite
  • Analyze data/research findings to develop recommendations or logical outcomes applicable to the customer organization
  • Analyze business mission, business processes, and stakeholder interviews, and evaluate strategic and tactical plans in order to develop business and IT process improvement recommendations
  • Work with your team to develop innovative and creative solutions to business challenges utilizing your basic understanding of the business and IT that supports the business
  • Conduct follow-up interviews to share business models with stakeholders and present team recommendations
  • Prepare thorough, professional, and well-presented deliverables
  • Develop relationships, trust and understanding with your stakeholders
  • Become a valued partner and a thought leader that your stakeholders look to for advice and support so the Agency can continuously improve their efficiency and provide value to their customers

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as a Business Consultant, Business Architect, Enterprise Architect, Analyst or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related degree
  • Excellent consulting skills to support and manage clients and customers
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow and recommend approaches
  • Able to understand high-level technology solutions including platforms, applications, computing languages, etc.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office
  • Process driven analysis skills and a background in various ways of getting information from stakeholders
  • As a consultant, you will have a polished manner, articulate written and verbal communications, strong analytical ability, a proactive approach, and a sense of creativity, innovation and good judgement
