About the Role

As an Information Security Technical Consultant, you will support the strategic development of an enterprise-level Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) Program as well as contribute to Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) and Ongoing Authorization (OA) project support.  


Support activities associated with the ISCM/CDM Program as required below:

  • Compile, write, update, review, finalize, produce and support all requested documentation and updates to documentation for the program – for example, CONOPS, Charters, SOPs, Brief briefs, System Security Plans, System Enrollment Forms (SERFs), Control Allocation Tables (CATs), Trigger Accountability Log (TRAL) and Master TRAL or other appropriate documentation as directed by the Federal Government for the OA Program
  • Generate documentation to support specific system enrollment and monthly meetings as requested by the government (including Agendas, action items, RMB and AO briefs)
  • Develop, provide and/or facilitate CDM meeting support as directed by the Federal Government
  • Compile, write, update, finalize, produce and support all documents associated with the monthly CDM, ISCM, and OA weekly meetings


Required Qualifications


  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Experience working in Federal Information Security programs with continous monitoring, risk management, security assessment, risk assessments and/or information security auditing.

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Certifications: Security+ highly preferred

  • U.S. citizenship required, active Secret clearance a plus
  • 1+ years’ experience performing security authorization and FISMA compliance
  • Knowledge of NIST 800 series publications (e.g. 800-37, 800-53A)
  • General security knowledge around conducting continuous monitoring or security assessment activities
  • Strong team work skills
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong Communication skills, verbal and written
