About the Role

We are looking for a Systems Administrator who is skilled in Linux (Red Hat preferred), virtualized environments (VMware), the Windows Operating Systems (Win2008/2012, Windows 7), and have knowledge of network and firewall configurations, etc.  You should have experience in software/hardware troubleshooting and testing.  You must also have 3+ years of work experience in a combination of the skill areas.


We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, both oral and written, English language skills, and knowledge of software engineering concepts.  Excellent people skills are a must due to being on the client site full time.


Also, we need someone who will be able to work as part of a team but also must be able to function independently, have the ability to concurrently handle multiple tasks, consistently meet established deadlines, and be able to work in a high-pressure environment.


In this role, you will support systems and subsystems, technical planning, and systems integration and testing for major information technology imaging projects. You will use your broad experience supporting Linux and Windows system platforms, software, and architectures. You will interface with both internal and external customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience administering and supporting Linux-based platforms (Red Hat preferred)
  • Strong scripting capabilities using Perl or Python
  • Must be able and willing to work in an environment that requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Must be a US Citizen

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience suppporting Windows 2008/2012 platforms including Group Policy and Active Directory Services
  • Experience working in virtualized environments such as VMWare
  • Database installation, administration and query capabilities, focusing on SQL database environments
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, and network, switch and firewall configurations
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related training
